Fruit Compotes are a delicious way to spice up your favorite recipes.
This recipe is inspired by a favorite of mine and it makes a great way to use up some leftover fruit.
I have a few different fruit compotes I love, and this one is definitely one of my favorites.
This is a low glycemic fruit compole, so if you’re looking for something to spice things up on your next meal, this is definitely the way to go.
You can even make this into a simple, quick, and healthy dessert!
Print Ingredients 1 cup almond milk 1 cup apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp apple cider 5-6 slices strawberries 3-4 tbsp apple butter 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon 1-1/2 tsp allspice 3/4 cup honey 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup pitted dates Directions In a large bowl, combine almond milk, apple cider, lemon juice, vinegar, lemon, apple butter, and allspices.
In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Pour into a small bowl.
In the same bowl, mix together dates, strawberries, and apples.
Pour in the mixture, and stir until combined.
